The final meeting of the project for establishment of Iraqi National Oil Spill Contingency Plan (NOSCP) was held in Basra, the southern city of Iraq, in October 2017. The project is funded by Japan International Corporation Agency (JICA) in order to develop the comprehensive oil spill response scheme, with technical support of JOE.
